One of Carlton Construction’s commercial projects, Montevilla at Bartram Park in Jacksonville, Florida, was recently featured in the annual “Art + Architecture” issue of Arbus – The Arts & Business Magazine of Northeast Florida (May/June 2015). This issue included profiles of current architectural, design and build projects; a message from the president of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Jacksonville chapter; a survey on “What can architects do to contribute to the quality of life issues in Jacksonville?”; and articles such as “Architecture’s Role in Downtown Rejuvenation.”
The Montevilla project feature, shown on page 52 of the issue, showcased Carlton’s wide range of construction and design implementation services that were key to the development of this 43-acre villa home community. Carlton’s amenity facilities work included the intricately-designed clubhouse, 1,800-square-foot resort-style pool, expansive entry monuments, decorative access gates, site walls, fountains, parks, irrigation system and ornamental fencing.
Clint Thomas, Vice President of Carlton Construction’s Commercial Division, said, “It was wonderful to have a project we’re so proud of featured in this special issue of Arbus. It’s great exposure for Carlton Construction, highlights our extensive experience with amenity facilities, and demonstrates the high-quality commercial services and solutions we offer to architects, developers and business owners.”
