To mark the 50th anniversary of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church on Kingsley Avenue, the parish decided to upgrade some of their buildings. After demolishing an old space, Rooney Hall, St. Catherine’s broke ground on a new Family Life Center with Kasper Architects & Associates as the architects.
Because of our experience with owner direct purchases, we were able to assist the church in creating accounts with major vendors and ultimately save them more than $50,000 in sales tax. A significant push by the Project Manager drove the Family Life Center past the finish line in time for a grand opening in December 2020. When it was complete, the project consisted of a single-story structure with concrete masonry walls, steel columns, and wood roof trusses.
